My Story

Welcome to Tidal Hearts & Co.

My name is Jennifer Nandkumar, founder and creator of the brand, based in Queens, New York. Tidal Hearts began in a way I never expected—I always thought I wouldn’t pursue business, especially since I didn’t study it. But my love for the ocean, tropical landscapes, and nature as a whole led me here.

I’ve always been drawn to jewelry and fashion, and after traveling to the West Coast and Hawaii, I found myself deeply inspired by the beauty of those environments. The colors, textures, and natural elements stayed with me, and that inspiration became the foundation of Tidal Hearts & Co.

What started as simple sketches in my watercolor pad gradually came to life. After six months of carefully curating and refining each design, my vision became a collection of pieces that reflect both the ocean and the vibrant beauty of nature.

My goal is to deliver high-quality jewelry that is hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant, and waterproof—pieces designed to be worn effortlessly, every day. As the brand continues to grow, I look forward to exploring even more elements of nature and incorporating them into future designs.
